1. Overview
ScormMaker is designed so that normal PowerPoint to SCORM conversion happens locally in your browser.
ScormMaker does not receive or store the contents of your PowerPoint files during the normal local conversion flow. Limited website analytics, security logs, and technical information may still be processed as described in this policy.
2. What ScormMaker does not receive during normal local conversion
- Your PowerPoint file during the default browser-side conversion flow
- PowerPoint content such as text, images, notes, or slide layouts
- The generated SCORM ZIP package produced in your browser
- Your conversion content history as part of the default local workflow
3. Website technical data we may process
Even though your presentation content stays local by default, the website itself may still process limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
- Page visits and navigation events such as which pages were opened
- Browser and device details such as browser family, operating system, and screen context
- IP address and request metadata as handled by our hosting and delivery infrastructure
- Performance or diagnostics events such as load timing or runtime failures
- Analytics events such as page views or button interactions when analytics tools are enabled
4. Optional troubleshooting uploads
By default, ScormMaker does not upload your PowerPoint file. However, if you use the issue-reporting flow and explicitly authorize a one-time troubleshooting upload, we may receive the data you choose to send for that request.
- The file you intentionally selected for troubleshooting
- Your email address so we can reply about that troubleshooting request
- Basic request metadata such as the issue source and upload timing
The current troubleshooting upload endpoint is https://api.scormmaker.com/app/troubleshooting/scormmaker/upload.
5. Cookies, browser storage, and local processing
