ScormMaker is a browser-based service for converting supported PowerPoint files into SCORM 1.2 packages and previewing the result before download.
2. Service Description
ScormMaker currently allows users to:
- Convert supported PowerPoint `.pptx` files to SCORM 1.2 packages
- Preview the generated course in the browser before download
- Process the default conversion flow locally in the browser
- Export packages for testing in compatible LMS platforms such as Moodle, Canvas, and Blackboard
3. User Responsibilities
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes
- Ensure you have the right to convert and distribute the PowerPoint content you process
- Not attempt to overload, disrupt, reverse engineer, or misuse the Service
- Test exported packages in your own LMS environment before publishing to learners
4. Intellectual Property
Your Content: You retain ownership of the presentation content you process using ScormMaker.
Our Service: The ScormMaker product, design, code, and related branding remain protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Generated Output: The generated SCORM package is provided without watermarking in the current implementation.
5. Capability Boundaries
ScormMaker preserves common slide content such as text, images, and basic layouts. Some advanced PowerPoint features may be simplified or unsupported. Review the browser preview before importing the package into your LMS.
- Compatibility can vary by LMS version, platform settings, and administrator configuration
- ScormMaker currently generates SCORM 1.2 packages, not SCORM 2004 packages
- Not every PowerPoint feature will be preserved exactly as authored
6. Privacy and Data Handling
Your PowerPoint file is processed directly in your browser. The presentation and generated SCORM package are not uploaded to or stored on our servers.
Website analytics, hosting infrastructure, and optional troubleshooting uploads may still process limited technical or support-related data. Please review the Privacy Policy for details.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
ScormMaker is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
- Accuracy or completeness of every conversion result
- Compatibility with every LMS environment or configuration
- Preservation of every PowerPoint feature in SCORM output
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScormMaker and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Service.
9. Third-Party Platforms
ScormMaker is not affiliated with Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, or other LMS providers. Your use of any LMS remains subject to that platform's own terms and configuration.
10. Service Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service over time, including supported integrations, support flows, or operational configuration.
